Before you, my life was like a moonless night. Very dark, but there were stars - points of light and reason. And then you shot across my sky like a meteor. Suddenly everything was on fire; there was brilliancy, there was beauty. When you were gone, when the meteor had fallen over horizon, everything went black. Nothing had changed, but my eyes were blinded by the light. I couldn't see the stars anymore. And there was no more reason for anything.

Miss Lim always say things like "By not doing what I say, you're not respecting me as your teacher." or "By not doing my homework, you're telling me that I failed as a teacher." Ahhhh Miss Lim save those drama mama whatnot. Because people who failed as teachers are so much more in numbers and so much worse than you could even think of, or so I saw.

Being an educator, it is okay if you don't look the part (actually not really). But your basic core values and principles as a teacher, is to teach, to impart knowledge, to instil values, to motivate, to encourage, to mould students into a successful and upright individual, so they can better advance and excel in his or her own domain. But what I see in you is far from what I have mentioned. What I see is ignorance, irresponsibility, disregard, evasion of problems, oblivion, unacquainted, nonchalance, incapable, signs of favouritism, racist tendencies. And your equivocal replies and answers really pissed all of us greatly. Worst still, sarcasm, hostile, irresponsible, racist humiliation remarks coming from you?? Presposterous. Yes, you may say we all have our own teaching methods, but what I see coming from you has not done any good to the students, on the contrary, detrimental effects. We all know that sarcasm is strictly prohibited in our position, that's why I often have to refrain myself from being sarcastic towards my students because I know it may inflict them in some way, malignant or benign. Oh maybe you don't know. We can be friends with students, but don't forget that the fine, thin line still exists.

What irked me most is that you act all benevolent, noble, intelligent, knowledgeable, know-it-all, considerate and thoughtful in front of superiors or other counterparts. That really left us disgusted to the max. What you are doing does not reflect you as an educator. In all my academic life, I've seen some of my teachers who failed badly at what they do. I've faced beatings, verbal abuse, sarcasm, humiliation, insults, personal attacks (even over misdemeanors) from people whom I called teachers, and I moved on. But what about those students who weren't strong enough to take such things? What about those students who take your harsh words seriously? What will those students who look up to you as a role model think? Sometimes it only takes a few words, a small little expression, or a few gestures, to completely destroy a person. Do you even think before you say anything? Do you need people to remind you that you have a brain so that you can start thinking? Your ability as an educator is really questionable.

I also have issues with educators supporting the idea of elitism, and I'm rather appalled to realise that this is becoming a norm. What's with the Alpha Group thing and Elite Classes? It is okay to focus on bringing up the level, but please don't overdo it that you neglect those who are struggling, and I'm referring to those who are willing to learn, not those who are not. For the latter, all you can do is faster let them see the 點 of the importance of education in life. I'm shocked to realise that more schools are emphasizing on elitism and neglecting the non-elites. What about those that are willing to strive but their pace are slower? What about those who have potentials waiting to be uncovered? These students need help and guidance, but are ignored. What will the future of education become? What kind of education will my children receive in future?

Side:
Today was one of the really bad days. I was preoccupied for quite a long while before getting over it. Company of Chester and Rayna made me feel better.
I won't say what happened here. All I can say is
Sometimes, you're really just unlucky.
