Before you, my life was like a moonless night. Very dark, but there were stars - points of light and reason. And then you shot across my sky like a meteor. Suddenly everything was on fire; there was brilliancy, there was beauty. When you were gone, when the meteor had fallen over horizon, everything went black. Nothing had changed, but my eyes were blinded by the light. I couldn't see the stars anymore. And there was no more reason for anything.

I guess this is the peak of the semester, where all projects and assignments come flooding in. Other than occasional DTOMT meetings, MJ sessions and pre-CNY outings, its school.

Just like how we struggled last semester. Finally submitted our GHOMGT, ATSYS2, AISYS2 and BUSFUND and MUSIC. Somehow I couldn't fathom the art of music; I had a difficult time "conjuring" the 20th Century music report that I didn't sleep a wink the entire night and skipped Mary's lesson next day. The whole night I was playing and replaying The Rite of Spring that the house people were very disturbed by the orchestral play, yet amazed at my peculiar change of music preference, or so they thought.

Open House managed to squeeze its way into our busy schedules. This time no more I-Guides with WS, JX and others. AMS deployed all its students for Open House 2009. Got the first day and third day shift. First day of Open House we were to dress smartly in our formal wear to position ourselves from other Engineering courses. We were to sell the course and our Luncheon talks. Rayna and I were deployed to Mushroom, together with Dorothy and Ying Xin. It wasn't that bad; we managed to clinch quite a lot of deals overall. It gets really tiring because we had to walk around the whole day, though occassionally we'll sneak away for breaks or go back to the booth to help. Sometimes our Tiger steward(ess) s will come and drop us a visit with refreshments while parading around the campus.
Saw many familiar faces at Open House. Apart from friends and relatives, also spot some juniors from secondary school. We also saw those Mediacorp teen actors and actresses roaming around attracting glances from people around. The people at the booth stopped a Campus Superstar finalist and forced her to sing to them WTF.
Last day of Open House I was in mobile team under Joanna, with ZhenCheng and some other Year Ones. TP is so full of life, especially so when all the guides from the different schools unite for the school's mass dance and song.

All AMS students were deployed for JAE 2009, where we were to pull more people into our course. Was stationed at the bus stop with Melvin and Samantha and many other people from other courses for touting. AMS managed to get the first few applicants of the day. HAHA Samantha got very disturbed and insecure by the many people around her making wolf whistles and calling out to her and making obscene gestures and asking for her number; Melvin and I were like the guards of the day. hehehe

All lessons were cancelled during JAE week but I still have to go back to school everyday to do project. Because Boss wants his Chinese New Year to be free of burdens so we have to work harder, and faster. There came the second round of ATSYS2, GHOMGT, AISYS2 and SECSUR projects and assignments. Submission on CNY week!

And main exams coming... @@
