Went RSAF Open House 2008 at Paya Lebar Air Base on the 30th of August.With crazy classmates and a coursemate. HAHAHHAHAHA!
Our RSAF turns 40 this year! As part of the 40th Anniversary Celebrations, the RSAF Open House 2008 will be held for the public on the 30th and 31st August 2008. Did you go? Totally cool
We got to know and understand more of the 3rd Generation RSAF and the capabilities that the RSAF has developed over the years. Exciting highlights include aerial display performances, aircraft rides, display of the advanced weapon systems, carnival activities and free, satisfaction guaranteed, fabulous tan for all.
We went in the morning so that we could catch the aerial display performance.

We had the chance to get up close (see and touch) with those fighter jets.
The F16 Fighting Falcon, AH64 Apache, Hermes 450, C130 Hercules, Fokker 50, CH47 Chinook and many more were on display. And the dashing Black Knights were there of course.
Couldn't emphasize more on how conflagrant the weather was, I downed the most number of ice creams within that few hours.
The aerial display performances are COOL! Saw Yong Ann, WeiBin and friends too! Under the blazing sun we tried to seek shelter from others' umbrellas.

Of course there were all those people who psycho you to sign on, but I think we were only interested in the freebies and free gifts. Busy taking this and that. Some free gifts are really nice! Like the pens, torch/laser, notebook, stickers, leather file, sports bag, posters, etc...
Went to a vegetarian restaurant (of all places) for dinner and celebrated WZ's birthday!! LOL
HAPPY 18TH BIRTHDAY!! Must keep the POWER RANGER hor!!

In the end, I didn't go for the ice cream job, the F1 job, nor the airport job.
And I didn't get this year's GCA job. ='(
I have been mahjong-ing quite profusely this few weeks. And I count myself VERY lucky that I didn't really lose a lot. Because some players really lose like hell, to the extent that I feel like crying for them. The sessions were mostly enjoyable.
Mahjong-ed at Leaw's residence with owner, Chester and Joanna. ROFLMAO at the random jokes and Chester's blurness. Paiseh, next time open your eyes bigger la. We sort of played mahjong in the rain. Damn cool! Won a mere $2 in the end.
Mahjong overnight at KQ's house with himself, Kelvin and Chocolate. Shit! Felt damn unhealthy because there's free and neverending flow of tidbits and drinks. It was freaking hot even with the air-con on, Kelvin was complaining and Chocolate was melting. Then some random neighbour came and take over KQ while he went to sleep.
Mahjong with Jared and the two mysterious beings made me feel like we're playing mahjong in the zoo. Because there's dogs, cats and hamsters running around and a few parrots flying above our heads, sometimes landing on our mahjong table and trying to steal the dices and chips.
Played mahjong at Leo's house with himself MD, Victor and Alex. They played mahjong like KBOX: sang at the top of their lungs throughout the whole game till neighbours complain but still continue singing. And they started imitating those celebrities which made me LMAO and couldn't concentrate on the game.
Speaking of KBOX, SHIT! I went so many times this holiday that I became a member. zomg. And those countless dinners and movies..... I'm spending like I'm rich...
Recently, I found out how to keep myself occupied this holiday. Free of charge too.

ShAT! When was the last time I read??!! Donkey years ago.... Couldn't believe this. I didn't read at all ever since I enter Poly. I recall vividly that my parents used to scold me because I spent too much time reading and neglect my schoolwork. To prevent myself from spending more money, I shall shut myself at home to read. Till I get a job of course. I'm still in debt!
