Before you, my life was like a moonless night. Very dark, but there were stars - points of light and reason. And then you shot across my sky like a meteor. Suddenly everything was on fire; there was brilliancy, there was beauty. When you were gone, when the meteor had fallen over horizon, everything went black. Nothing had changed, but my eyes were blinded by the light. I couldn't see the stars anymore. And there was no more reason for anything.

Woke up late today. It's nice to wake up naturally instead of having an alarm clock ringing.

Geez. My Primary 3 student was reading the Harry Potter and Lord of the Ring series. I'm not sure if he understands or not. If he does, then wow. I was like still reading Enid Blyton and loving it when I was in Primary 3 la. He asked me a little about Harry Potter and so we talked a little about it.
He's a pro at Math and Science, don't know why still need tuition. But never mind, I can slack and take money. So yeah.

Ok some inferiorty here. I think I can complete the whole Math assessment with perfect answers in like an hours' time? Don't understand why I kept doing badly for Math when I was in primary school, even when I did pay full attention in class. Maybe I'm slow.
But I'm not what.

After much consideration, I've decided to turn up for Samantha's performance at the Esplanade Powerhouse Stage. Her band sure did rock the place upside down ya. Postbox goes the Indie way. Not very my thing, but still it's nice la, especially the drummer. Samantha wasn't feeling well but she still did great. PROFESSIONALISM.

She can still sing very well despite her sore throat and flu.

As you would have guessed she's a kantang (potato), you are right.

She always never fail to make us laugh by speaking horrible Chinese. It was horrible, yet hilarious. Bimbotic moments. She's good at Chinese profanities though. And she recently grasped the Hokkien dialect from those uncles and occasionally speaks it, which is damn weird and funny coming from a kantang. We love the way she mix those languages and dialects and used them wrongly. Recently we learnt some Cantonese vulgarities from the old people.

I was joined by papaJel and Hoon大妈. And also Squid, Vanessa and Leonard. Went for dinner at Marina Square Carl's Junior. Nice chat over dinner. Thought of catching a movie but didn't because it was quite late already. So we went to the Singapore Flyer for a walk.

Spastic.

Mr Yap gave us some jobs in this Flight Experience thing, some sort of flight simulator business. We will be paid about $8 per hour. But of course you will have to get through the job interview first.

HAHA. Taking picture in front of this Baggage Check-In thing. We were curious why there's such thing here. Turned out that it's for tourists.

After which we parted ways, me and my "parents" took bus from there while Squid, Vann and Leonard walked to somewhere else for transport. Took bus to Bishan and then we went home from there.
