Camp was superb! Maybe because all my friends and mates were there, and these people sure kick arse! Though some things didn't go smoothly as planned, we were still able to complete everything. It's really cool to work with the main comm and the rest. AMS peeps really rock you off your legs. A great thanks to all who were involved in making this camp a success.
OK, I'm going to list out all the people who put in effort and played their part in making this camp a blast!
The FAs were ever bursting with energy, super high all the way. Shah, SinYan, Elwyn, Colleen, Hoon and Ryan!! Really can't imagine camp without these people.And also thanks to Food/Admin people like Iskandar, Joanna, WeiBin and MengYu for settling those administrative stuff and feeding all of us. It's tough work ok and they did great.

Kudos to Logistic people! Chester, Adha, Alex, Wei Zhi, NanPing, Asyraf and Christopher! These people are tough man, they have to run around the whole polytechnic to settle our logistics stuff for the games and activities. It's really heartaching to see them running around in the hot sun just to get the stuff done on time. Super committed people I can say.
And lastly, the super dear bunch of Programmers. Great thanks to Vanessa, Jel, Daryl, JiaYun, Jasmine, Samantha, Wei Sheng, Squid, JiaMin, YiNing, Leonard, HuiYing, Jonathan, KangWei, Kathleen, Ili, Joanna, Asyura, Darren and Rayna! It was super fun to work with these people and I've learnt a lot of things from them. Through this camp I also knew more about them. And I'm gonna miss all the fun!!
It's actually a 2-day camp but we have to stay over the night before to carry out the dry runs. We were suppose to be serious but we ended up playing and having fun. Some of us did some photoshoot for the nightwalk. After that we played some games as a whole group and then went for prata opposite school after midnight. The prata people were super amazed because suddenly so many people turned up. The meal was nice.

Back to school. We did some illegal stuff so I can't blog about it. We then went to TCA for shower. Damn nice, like resort so we took our own sweet time to bathe. Some of them went to somewhere else to bathe. We played cards and mahjong till super late that we slept at around 5am or 6am. Vanessa and Jel had to prepare some slideshows for the camp.
Dawn breaks and we went Mensa for breakfast. And then accompanied Adha to Sports Complex to shower. After that I have to left the rest and go do some stuff. That day's errand was really tough and I almost couldn't return alive. After that went BUSINESS to quarrel with somebody, and then went DESIGN to quarrel with another person, and then quickly run back to camp.
The time comes and the AMS freshies came floating in with enthusiasm and anticipation as they've awaited long for this day to come. Everyone loves AMS!! Freshies damn cool. Caught 4 juniors from Compassvale: Merishah, Vanessa, Simon and RuiYi! Oh I don't think they know me. Congrats for making it in! Nice to see some familiar faces.
First up was the dialogue session between freshies and the lecturers and the blah introduction stuff and then they were separated into their groups. The slideshow was funny, many ugly photos of us. Must be Jel who put them in lor. FAs took the whole lot for ice-breaking while programmers and logcomm when preparing stuff for games. There were 6 groups and only 6 programmers were deployed for pictohunt, including me. The freshies were damn high and steady can? I almost couldn't take their enthusiasm hahaha. And so I took Lycan for pictohunt, which is Hoon大妈's group. So we ran around the whole polytechnic to search for the things in the pictures given. Some random run around with them and done.

Dinner time! Freshies to the FAs and the rest of us quickly prepare for the next few activities: Sardine and nightwalk. Super chaotic because everybody was busy putting up make-up, trying out scary songs, set up equipment, coming up with the storyline (damn last minute).
Sardine is like a game of hide-and-seek with a twist. Freshies were to go out into the dark in pairs to look for programmers/FAs who were hiding around the school. The people hiding can only take a limited amount of people with them so the last pair who couldn't find any to take them in had to do some forfeit. Another thing is that those people who hide have super horrifying heavy scary make-ups, to scare the daylights out of people. It's called 'Sardine' because everyone had to hide in a small place. -.-The rest of us have our dinner in our own holding room, preparing for our nightwalk. Our clubroom and holding room is at Block 18 Level 6, which is the most haunted place in School of Engineering. But we didn't care much haha. Heard a few rumours and stories about this block. Scary. And Block 18 Level 6 is one of our scenes for nightwalk. ~Creeps! This long, dark, spooky corridor send chills down your spine.

The Logcomm have much to do because they have to block out all the lightings with newspapers and papers because there's no way we can switch off the corridor lights. And they have to seal the elevator's lights, which is damn scary for the freshies. There were much running around and flustering because we were short of time. Logcomm have to set up scenes at Block 10 Level 6 and Block 19 Level 6 (the labs) which were also rumoured strange happenings. You would want to avoid walking the long stretch of pitch dark corrdors when you're alone.

The labs are damn spooky. JiaYun and WeiSheng were stationed there to scare people. The programmers were also running around helping the Logcomm to set up the stuff. I was gobbling down my food while the make-up artists put up my make-up for me. Jasmine damn pro can haha. But in the end we all still rush to the toilet to help one another to put the make-up. The fake blood is like really fake la.

Muahaha finally it's my turn to scare people, my make-up wasn't the real scary kind though. We were all crowding in the girls' toilet and it's in such a mess. JiaYun was in cheongsam with a bloody scary face. LOL

Ok, it certainly was not as easy as it seemed. Because there were about 70 freshies and they come in pairs, which meant we had to act 30+ times. Cry 30+ times, jump out 30+ times, fall down 30+ times. Those in front doing the introduction which is the fighting scene have to quarrel and fight 30+ times. Relit the candles many times, scream 30+ times, and Jiamin had to tear the diary 30+ times. (We had lots of student handbooks for her to tear). I had to lie there and grab those who walked by 30+ times, of course I tried to do something different each time.

Shah stood between the double doors and guide the freshies through to corridor. But after a while JiaYun's station at the lab pronounced failure because it wasn't scary enough, so she and WeiSheng were transferred to our corridor. But I thought it was rather freaky because me and Kathleen went to sneak on them and got scared ourselves by the both of them standing by. Vanessa and Jel joined the corridor so there's a lot of people there.

Some freshies were scared out of their wits while some were not afraid. Many funny moments. The whole thing took a very long time and we were super tired after that. Many bruises over our bodies. Went back to LT with freshies and debriefed and went to bathe and after a few rounds of BIG2 then went to sleep.

Next morning after breakfast was Hunt-gry and I didn't have to play because JiaYun was my partner and she went home because she's sick so it's my free time. And Rayna wasn't deployed either so we went to walk around the school and looked at the others played the game. We went to visit Joanna and WeiSheng, then saw Kathleen and Jonathan as we walked around the school. Bought icecreams. Saw Jel and slacked a while, saw AMS on the news again. Click Here. Dunno why no picture. Congratulations! We were proud of you people.
Then Jel left and Rayna want to go library but I don't want. So I went to find Log people. Oh my these people were already pushing those logistics to the stations, under the hot sun. Went to find Alex and the others at Sports Complex and they have to wait there till the next activity start. :( But Hunt-gry will take a long time and there's still lunch. It's the wet games after lunch.
Super tired.
Asyura was my partner and our station's at street soccer court which was at the other end of the school. So we walked there after the briefing. The sun's right above us and there weren't many shades there. There were some cockups because there were some problems with the items and we cannot carry out the Hula Smash. So changed to DodgeBombs, which was actually dodgeball la. We waited for like 3 hours under the hot sun before the first group turned up. It wasn't fun, we sincerely apologise, because we came up with all the rules like last minute. We weren't feeling very good because of the burning sun. And after the whole thing, I was super chao tah and burnt, worse than before.

The last activity was Final Clash, brought to everyone by the FAs. It was somewhat like RISK. Grouped up with the 01 guys. And in the end our group won because we have the most "aircrafts". Everyone was drenched to the skin in the end. We started pushing one another into the fountain.
