I barely slept a wink and got waken up by JunFei's morning call. Don't feel like getting up. Jun Fei say they not going to run, which means I have to lunch alone. No choice so I went over to Punggol Plaza to buy lunch back.
While crossing the road to my block, there's this small car hit the big car and the big car flipped to it's side. Damn! I was only a few inches away, I would have died man. The windscreen and sideglass smashed into smithereens, the driver trapped inside, there's no passengers. He wasn't hurt very badly, just that his arms were bloody. A few Samaritans flew to the flipped car and try to pull the driver out. Everybody was watching. Two traffic police were there and they attempt to disperse the crowd for fear that the car might explode. There was a few clicking sounds and some sparks could be seen in the front engine. The next second, there was hell lots of smoke, then came the fire. Many ran at the sight of fire for they thought it might explode. So funny, I just moved myself away from the crowd. Won't explode bah. It didn't explode. The driver was free and escorted to safety. Then suddenly somebody flew out from Punggol Plaza with an extinguisher and spray at the fire.
The ambulance arrived in a few minutes. The whole road is jammed as there were only two lanes. Somebody had parked his/her car on the first lane and the flipped car occupied the second lane. Jammed all the way, cars kept coming in. The traffic police ran around hysterically directing cars and all. Soon after, there were fire engines.
There was this mother and her small son beside me.
"Wah! Got two fire engines leh!" the boy exclaimed.
"Ya! The small one no use, so the big one come and help!" said the mother.
And oh no I'm gonna be late for Joyride. Rushed home and finish my lunch in front of TV, and then headed towards Singapore Youth Flying Club. 103W is a snail, waited for like more than 30 minutes before it arrived. Late, but we were not told off as the people there expect us to be late too.
There were briefings of safety precautions and all that and blah blah blah.
At about 3 plus, my group headed to the aircraft. Only 3 people, me, one of the P702 guys, and a HCI guy. And of course there's the pilot, showed us all the important parts of the aircraft. The name was Piper Fighter dunno what can't remember. Then he told us a lot of technical stuff that I don't really understood, mostly physics thing. What air pressure blah blah and showed us the engine and blah blah blah. But must at least pretend to understand so I just nodded as he explained. Up on board the aircraft and wow, I'm utterly bamboozled by all those buttons and knobs and handles. Took the back seats with the HCI guy, didn't talk. He resembled Jun Xian a little.
And off we went, up into the skies. The feeling was superb. It has been a long time since I go airborne. We flew over the whole of Singapore. It's so fun and so high. We can't even see the people, only moving cars. The view was spectacular, it's like Google Earth "Live". Flew to HCI because the pilot, I think, also from HCI. He also flew us to Temasek Polytechnic. It's great to see from birds' view. Saw buildings like:
- Ngee Ann Polytechnic
- SIM
- Singapore Sports School
- Ang Mo Kio Hub
- CBD area
- Esplanade
- The Singapore Flyer
- National Stadium
He flew us to the south, saw Bishan, Sembawang, Woodlands, City Hall and more. We flew to Sentosa too. Too bad didn't fly to Sengkang or Punggol, but I can see Punggol MRT station from a distance because it's quite big. Try to catch a glimpse of Compassvale Secondary School but blocked by HDB flats. And yes, we flew to Hougang where I saw my primary school and Heartland Mall. We saw our fellow mates up there too.
From on top, the MRT train looked like a worm and the trees looked like brocollis. And then, the pilot tell us to prepare for a 360 degrees turn. And he did that. And then a 180 degrees. COOL! After turning here and there, I felt a little nauseous. The view was really magnificent.
Ominous dark clouds drifted by, suddenly thought of Dementors HAHAHA. Cameras and handphones were prohibited therefore can't take pictures.
We returned back to ground. After a short debrief, we were dismissed. Switched on my phone and saw 29 missed calls. Jared wants me to return him his comic. Crazy. Machiam emergency like that.
Since Zhi Xun and the rest didn't come out study so I go find Jared at Heartland Mall to return him his comic. Had McDonald's for dinner since nobody is cooking at home. He took out his D&T things and started asking me this and that.
"I don't take D&T."
"Don't bluff.", and he starts blabbering away while I eat. Half the time I don't know what he's talking about.

Sera joined us later because she happened to drop by.
We talked a lot. She started talking about that thing that happened 3 years ago. Really nice to reminisce the past eh. Thanks to me and Ah Kok for the briliant plan that ********* didn't manage to achieve what he wants.
Enough of all these sad things, it's 12 plus so I have to go because tomorrow early morning got to go RUN FOR HOPE 2007 marathon at Sentosa. Go there to be road marshal, just to earn more SEAL points and get the free t-shirt. LOL. Going with Jel, Sam, Rayna and Joanna. So got to wake up early. So I shall stop blogging now.
